Aalling has extensive experience in agricultural law, title law, corporate and co-operative law and tax law issues related to these areas. He also works on real estate law issues such as expropriation, property law and ground leasing and has assisted a number of landowners in regards to option- and development agreements. Aalling frequents as a lecturer on the topics of tax law, co-operative societies and agricultural law.
